Spicy Food and low Blood Pressure are Enemy

What is correlation between  spicy food & low blood pressure ? Sometimes, we do not understand why people love spicy foods. Sometimes, we feel that spicy foods are nightmare because it makes our mouth feels burn. Many people think that eating spicy foods are just something useless. There is opinion among our people that spicy foods, especially chili disturbs metabolism and digestive system. Some researches done many years ago found that chili and other spicy ingredients are able to influence the blood pressure. The researches told that spicy foods are able to push the blood pressure.

There are evidences found by researchers that spicy foods are not good for people who low blood pressure. It happens because capsaicin, the thing that makes chili tastes hot is able to reduce blood pressure. Capsaicin can also avoid blood vessels obstruction.  Capsaicin works by activating reception chancels of the blood vessels. It will also produce nitrate oxide that will protect the blood vessels from inflammation and dysfunction. People who have low blood pressure need the reverse. It means if they consume too many spicy foods, it will not make their condition better but make it worse. Spicy food & low blood pressure has a very tight correlation.

According to that fact, consuming spicy foods is something allowed. Capsaicin inside the chili helps us sweat and it helps us taste delicious. For people in Asia, spicy foods are not just a menu but it has become something important. If we have low blood pressure, it is better to avoid spicy foods. Consuming it on certain amount is allowed but we have to make sure that it does not over the limit. From this discussion, we know that spicy food & low blood pressure is opposite.
